Haythem is the founder of Quidux Consulting, established in 2020 and specialises in energy advisory and analytical work for public and private institutions with a particular focus on Libya. Prior to this, Haythem spent the last 20+ years of his career at the intersection of the oil & gas and finance industries, including at Saudi Aramco where he helped establish the Company’s investor relations function following the world’s largest IPO. Prior to Saudi Aramco, Haythem spent almost 10 years at Morgan Stanley in London, where he was an Executive Director and top-rated oil & gas equity research analyst covering the European integrated oil companies, plus a number of the E&Ps and refiners. He also led on Morgan Stanley’s Middle East and North Africa oil & gas commodity research efforts and wrote regular reports on the supply outlook for key producers such as Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Iran and Libya. He has also spent several years as part of Merrill Lynch’s Equity Capital Markets division in London, working on numerous IPOs and secondary offerings in the GCC and European equity markets. Haythem is also a CFA charterholder and graduated with a first class degree in Economics (BSc) from University College London.
