PetroGas Oil Services is a technology solutions services company with our core activities in power generation solutions: such as gas turbines, pumps and compressors; digital solutions; flow and process solutions (valves); separation and filtration solutions; OCTG and pipelines; maritime services; and projects and technical services.
Our local Libyan engineers are highly skilled in a variety of technical disciplines, such as civil electro-mechanical and control engineers. Most of our engineers have gone through live training programs to ensure that they are equipped to support our clients with today’s challenges in the oil and gas sector.
The key strength of our engineers is the understanding of the local environment and familiarity with regulatory requirements and logistical challenges in the area, which allows us to deliver our clients cost-effective advanced solutions.
What systems and protocols does PetroGas implement to ensure the consistent quality and reliability of the spare parts and materials supplied to the oil and gas sector?
PetroGas has developed an OEM culture when it comes to providing technical solutions with the maintenance and production operations of our clients. Through our local Libyan engineers, we offer our availability to review our client’s equipment and survey the spare parts to cross-check them with our international partners to ensure the correct fit and type of parts are installed, according to OEM standards and international best practice.
PG local engineers go through regular training and attend courses organized by the OEM to familiarize themselves with the latest application procedures to identify and select the right parts for our client’s requirement.

Libya’s oil and gas sector has been around for many years, so we have a lot of legacy equipment which are no longer manufactured. But thanks to our partnership with major OEM’s and the technical skills of the local Libyans, we can offer our clients upgrade or replacement options, thanks to the latest advanced manufacturing solutions from the OEM, so that we can optimize their operational activities.

PetroGas’ success has been in our ability to apply best practices in our business activities through transparency and having a strong code of ethics and in implementing compliance.
