Libya: AGOCO Adds 2,000 BPD to Nafoura Field

Libya’s Arabian Gulf Oil Company (AGOCO) has announced the successful mechanical connection of a newly drilled well in the Nafoura oil field, increasing production capacity by approximately 2,000 barrels of oil per day (BPD).
This addition is part of AGOCO’s broader strategy to boost production across its portfolio, with plans to connect 16 additional wells. These projects will involve both mechanical and electrical integration, aimed at enhancing production capacity and ensuring operational efficiency.
This development aligns with the government’s objective to raise oil production to two million BPD by 2026.
